Ages 18-39 combined with other factors such as: Tobacco,Alcohol, Oral HPV
Patients over 65 with lifestyle risk factors <----Increased Risk
Procedure
1) Your Hygienist or Doctor will have you rinse with a solution for about 45 seconds
2) The Hygienist or Doctor will examine your mouth using the ViziLite
3) If any suspicious areas are found, the Hygienist or Doctor will mark the area with T-Blue which is a blue dye, and document in chart. If further steps need to be taken we will assist you in the right direction.
